The energy consumption and extending the lifetime of network is considered as one of critical problem and hotspot in international research for wireless sensor network, the problem is how to reduce the energy consumption and how to extending the lifetime of network as much as possible, because of the limited energy for sensor node, and also the replacement of the embedded batteries or change it is very difficult process one of these nodes have been deployed. In the recent year minimizing energy consumption, reduce to expend the energy and extending the lifetime for wireless sensor network is becoming as one of the most important hotspot in the development of routing protocols for wireless sensor network. Many algorithms of routing protocols focusing on development the performance to achieves the best performance in extending the lifetime of network and to be more efficient and convenient for minimizing energy for WSN.In this study, we propose an energy-aware cluster based on routing protocol for WSN, based on the power of sensor, sensor position, and clustering. In cluster, routing protocol the network is divided into some groups deployed randomly in a clustered geographical area. Each cluster consist a random number of sensors node based on node location information. The main objective of our proposed algorithm is that minimizing the energy consumption and extending the lifetime of network as much as possible, based on cluster routing protocol. In the proposed algorithm all the nodes are deployed randomly and divided into eight clusters geographical area, each cluster has random number of nodes. In this study, our cluster algorithm depend on maximum power and minimum distance for sensor node, so in this study the source will send the packet to node which has maximum power and also minimum distance, we have evaluated the performance of our clustering algorithm through an analysis and a simulation. We compare our algorithm’s performance with other clustering algorithm, which only based on the minimum distance for node, and demonstrate that achieves a good performance in extending the lifetime of network, and our simulation study illustrates the results of proposed algorithm.
