The wireless sensor networks is a self-organizing network which is made up of a sufficient number of wireless sensor nodes distributed in a certain area,it also detects information and collects data in this area.In recent years, with the decline of computing cost and the development of communication technology, wireless sensor networks has been widely used in medical care, environmental monitoring and military reconnaissance. As the wireless sensor nodes are powered by batteries and the working environment is complex, extending the lifetime of sensor networks is always the biggest problem of wireless sensor networks. In this article,we start with topology control and routing design,so there are two different application requirements, and we propose a data collection and optimization algorithm based on clustering wireless sensor networks.1)An improved algorithm based on the original protocol named LEACH,by dividing the testing area into subregions, selecting the probability of cluster heads depending on the density and the rest of energy in the region, and using multi-hop transmission,to realize the balance of energy consumption in network, improve energy efficiency, extend the lifetime of the network.2)While the data redundancy between nodes in wireless sensor network is relatively large,we use a broadcast cluster to reduce the transmission of original data in the network.Cluster head nodes broadcast original data, the cluster nodes compress their data after receiving the broadcast data and send it to the Sink node. This paper not only theoretically demonstrates that the above two algorithms can greatly reduce the energy consumption of the network,by using the matlab simulation, and contrasting with existing algorithms,we have also verified that our algorithm can better reduce energy consumption and prolong the lifetime of the network in both cases.
