With the development of Internet, networks play a more and more important role in people’s work and daily lives. As applications of networks varieties, surfing the internet merely couldn’t gratify people. Many applications of broadband thrive gradually such as High-Definition Television, video conference, interactive game and so on. Apparently the current networks can’t provide enough bandwidth to support these applications due to the bottleneck of access network.Nowadays ADSL dominates the use of access network but it can’t satisfy people’s bandwidth need because that many network applications couldn’t operate in consequence of its narrow upstream bandwidth. The new generation of ADSL VDSL2could not only provide wider bandwidth but also support multi-media application better with respect to network protocol. Now local electric power source supply the xDSL and this circumscribes the application scope of xDSL technology then degrade the user experience especially in video monitoring area because video monitoring system can’t obtain electric power from local place in general. So the xDSL system which is able to get electric power remotely has a extensive application prospect. The objective of our project is to design a line-division duplex xDSL broadband access system which has the ability to be fed remotely. Our system mainly takes advantage of VDSL2technology while power supply technology refers to Power Over Ethernet(POE). Using the duplex is convenient for the remote electric power acquirement ant it could guarantee enough bandwidth at the same time reduce the design difficulty.
