Today, the computing power of mobile phones has been strong enough to deal with office tasks, running3D games, and even high-definition video playback. According to DCCI (Data Center Of China Internet) survey shows that the number of mobile phone users at the end of2011is fast approaching the traditional number of Internet users.CNNIC(China Internet Network Information Center) announces that the online video users of China readed350million as of June2012. And the figure is40million more than the population of the United States last year. This shows that watching online video through th mobile phone will become one of the main applications in the future. At the same time the operationg system in mobile like iOS,android,is more powerful which makes video application become more simple to realize and convenient to use.Howerver, mobile video applcations can not reach high-speed development as the following reason.First, the price of traffic is still high.It almost exhausts free traffic to watch a program.Second, the bandwidth can not support high quility video program. In addition, video applications require more processing resources phone battery consumption. For the above-mentioned problem, we designed a sharing of theHLS(Http Live Streaming) stream playback system middleware, named HLS-Share. The main feature is able to collaborate the mobiles to share the3G bandwith, besides HLS-Share is a transparent middleware. And HLS-Share is fully taking into account the power consumption of the mobile application, to minimize the cost of electricity. This papre shows a P2P resource discovery and allocation algorithm for mobile heterogeneous networks.
