Power Fiber to the Home (FFTTH) is one of the smart grid constructionprojects comprehensively promoted by the Power Grid Corporation.PFTTH means laying the optical fiber with low-voltage power lines, in0.4kVcommunications access networks by the optical fiber composite low-voltage cable(OPLC), achieving To meters and to household. With passive optical networktechnology, PFTTH carrying the development of information collection, residentialdistribution automation, electric vehicle charging management and other smart gridbusiness to meet the need of smart grid electricity side information. Meanwhile,PFTTH can carry public service messages, which will save the public infrastructureresources and expand the social influence of smart grid and carry the national "tripleplay" services, through building and sharing together.The thesis described the passive optical networks and the establishment ofOPLC technical standards and product specifications in the PFTTH project wereanalyzesd detailedly. And accordingly, the network design principles ofShijiazhuang intelligent electricity PFTTH were formulate. The networkconfiguration scheme of Shijiazhuang Power Supply Company OPLC wasformulated based on Ethernet passive optical network, and put into practice. In theimplementation process, the networking and electrical design contents and nodeconfiguration of intelligent electricity PFTTH project were cleared firstly, as well asthe configuration content of the triple play and electricity information collectionequipment. While the configuration of the home fiber cable and fiber optic splicedmethods were described. Finally, the optical power attenuation and surplus degreesof the passive optical network link were estimated. The results show that theconfiguration of Shijiazhuang PFTTH project could achieve the operationalrequirements, the network is designed reasonably, which lay the foundation for thesmart grid promotion.
