With booming develop of intelligent terminal market and mobile internet services, a big challenge is appearing to the existing network infrastructure, which is no longer able to meet the growing needs of users. Many countries and organizations have been focused on the mobility management of mobile internet. While the host moving, the access point will change frequenslly. It will cause a alternation of router. Moreover, the terminal routing must be updated in pace with the access point alternation. How to mark and identify terminal and to select optimal route for the terminal have been hot spots of mobility management study.Through depth study of PMIPv6protocol, a hierarchical PIMIPv6inter-domain handover scheme is proposed according to the characteristics of PMIPv6. A data share center (DSC) is been used to store the pair of the MN’s home network prefix(HNP) and the LMA address before handoff in the BCE of DSC in the technology. Furthermore, DSC has the ability to handling the registration request from LMA. To deal with the large handoff delay and the drawback of node mobility prediction capabilities for inter-domain handover, a inter-domain PMIPv6handver scheme is presented according to MIH. By the interaction between MIH Function of mobile node side and that of network side, the node predicts its access location in advance and initiates the handoff preparation of L3layer before Layer2handoff. By ultilzing the SAP to report the trigger incidents to upper layer and shielding the underlying layer access state, the handover becomes a seamless and smooth process. The mathematical analysis and simulation are done for the proposed inter-domain handover method. Its results show that our proposed handover fame based on MIH between different PMIPv6domains greatly improves handover delay and network performance. Subsequently, the paper proposes a scheme for a summary of the design division of the network module, to analyze its interface message, given the state transition diagram and message handling in C language code. Then, mathematical analysis and simulation of handover between PMIPv6domains are done for singnaling overhead. The influence of node dwell time, data arrival rates and MAG numbers with the network signaling is illustrated. For centralized mobility management, there are problems, i.e. large handoff time delay, signaling overload, potential single point failure, low scalability or triangular routing. We elaborately study distributed mobility management of the current network mobility management. A fully distributed mobility management scheme is proposed. It has the separation of control plane and data plane in mobility management, good secrecy and low signaling overhead. The problem which locates in distributed mobility management is solved by combing HIP with PMIPv6protocol. This article gives the protocol flow chart of the algorithm, perform preliminary design for the protocol flow chart, complete network mobility management module division, analyze the interface messages between the network element, given the status of each network element transfer figure. The paper analyses the signaling overhead of the algorithm and accomplishes mathematical model and theory analysis about the relation between signaling overhead and mobile session ratio, the number of nodes and the number of gateways. Their simulation results show the signaling overhead of the presented technology is lower than that of the literature.
