Bottom class has always been a crucial subject, both in social class theory ofMarxism, and in social stratification of Max Weber.Nonetheless, simple application offoreign theories does not actually fit in modern China’s situation, especially when“there has been a tendency of political vulnerable mentality”, and where we aresurrounded by social media. Viewing mainly from a psychological perspective, theauthor introduces, as well as attaches new meaning to the concept of “disadvantagedgroup”, so as to observe the psychological and behavioral changes under aninternet-covered circumstance.Internet usage does not qualify as popular amongst disadvantaged group, whichcauses the ambiguous mentality similar as attachiant. This internet mentality includesan accumulation of emotions when using the network, and also an infection and areversion while not. With the help of informationalism, the author was able to clarifydifferent routes and to recognize the casting processes of the mentality.Besides the complex self, disadvantaged group’s network-receiving mentalityalso has a way of restraining people’s behavior. An intentional alternation ininformation being passed on by news, miro-blog and such will make a difference.
