Research On TPM Based Equipment Maintenance Knowledge Management System

Equipment maintenance knowledge management is an important part of theequipment management. Recently, the equipment maintenance modes have beenchanged, but maintain knowledge changes very little. The effective use of existingknowledge has significant meaningful to the development of enterprise. The TPM basedequipment maintenance knowledge management system is taken as the research objectby this paper with the use of theories and methods such as modern equipmentengineering, knowledge management, and information technology and management.The following researches have been done.(1) The analysis of equipment maintenance knowledge management processes.After the presentation of the TPM project implementation in S airport, the mainbusiness process of TPM based equipment maintenance has been introduced. Thecomposition and characteristics have been analyzed.(2) The requirements analysis and implementation methods study of theequipment maintenance knowledge management system. The acquisition methods ofbusiness systems knowledge and other knowledge have been introduced. The equipmentmaintenance knowledge is divided into three kinds, such as basic knowledge, processknowledge, and strategic knowledge. And the representation methods have beendescribed respectably. A database and ontology combinative method has been used tomanage and maintain the knowledge. A relational database storage mode has beendesigned for the classified knowledge bases. To accelerate the sharing and innovation ofknowledge, a knowledge map hierarchical model has been build which is on the basis ofbusiness process. The knowledge retrieval and discovery has been taken to illustrate theapplication of knowledge.(3) The design and development of equipment maintenance knowledgemanagement prototype system. Taking the TPM-based aerobridge maintenanceknowledge management of corporation S as application background, a knowledge management system prototype has been developed by B/S structure. The system mainlyincludes the knowledge management of field management, operation and maintenancemanagement, improvement management, equipment knowledge management.
