With the rapid increase in China's highway mileage and maintenance requirements, the scale of highway maintenance will be doubled in the next few years, conservation has become increasingly onerous. This thesis aims to build the data warehouse management system of maintenance equipment; thereby the equipment management level of maintenance equipment department can be improved, so as to achieve the lowest cost and highest efficiency of highway maintenance engineering under the premise of quality control.According to the current situation of highway maintenance device and Inner Mongolia Provincial Highway, based on support project" Study and Development on Management System of Highway Maintenance Equipment", which is combined Chang'an University and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region interprovincial thoroughfare. The major work completed as follows:Firstly, Inner Mongolia provincial access device configuration of the principles of conservation, the priority order and the equipment configuration categories were analyzed and summarized, given the configuration recommendations. Maintenance equipment decision-making needs of users, data warehouse maintenance equipment identified five themes.Secondly, the management data warehouse system of maintenance equipment is analyzed and designed by using the research method of data warehouse life cycle. This thesis made a multi-dimensional model and a star model.Thirdly, through the data extraction transformation loading data within the database is loaded into the data warehouse, the use of online analytical processing, multi-angle and depth of information analysis.Finally, system uses SQL Server2000 as the application database of system server. The system is developed with the windows operating system, the platform of NET2.0 and C#. The project is given as an application example of the highway maintenance equipment.
