As technology advances, the realization of informationize, intelligentialize, andunmanned is the development trend of manufacturing industry in the future. Atpresent, the level of informatization of manufacturing in our country varies betweendifferent plants and different regions, new equipments can be introduced forupgrading in those which have long production time and old equipment;but for thosewhich have short production time and equipment with relatively high residual value,it is not cost-effective to eliminate the original equipment, the best way is totransform the factory on the basis of its original equipment,however, wiringproblems are frequently encountered in transformation. This thesis researches anddesigns a factory key points wireless monitoring system which make it possible toconstruct a monitoring system for the key point’s online detection and centralizedmonitoring without the need for complex and cumbersome wiring by using wirelesstransmission instead of wired transmission.The whole system consists of three parts, namely the on-site measuring modules,the wireless transmission network and the host computer system.The on-site measuring modules on the bottom of the system which is responsiblefor information collection is the foundation of the whole monitoring system. As partof the terminal equipment, the measuring module is controlled directly by themicrocontroller JN5139. The measuring module provides a temperature sensor whichis made from platinum resistance and can measure the temperature directly and ainterface to receive4~20ma current signal.The wireless transmission network located in the intermediate layer of the systemis critical to the reliable operation of the system, it uses the wireless transmissiontechnology based on ZigBee protocol and JN5139Z01M01is selected as thetransmission module. The network is constructed by a lot of terminals which areresponsible for reading data from the measuring modules and sending them out, somerouters which are responsible for forwarding the data sent from the terminals to thecoordinator, and a coordinator which is responsible for establishing and maintaining the network and transmitting the data sent back from the terminals to the hostcomputer.The host computer system involves three parts: data transmission and processing,database, and information displaying. The using of data packet with prescribed formatin the communication between the host computer and the coordinator improves theextensibility for measuring other parameters. The using of piecewise linear method inthe conversion of temperature measurement improves the conversion precision. Thedatabase can store a variety of information about the equipment and key points, andgraphical user interfaces for information inputting and querying are provided. In theinformation monitoring platform,different levels of detail information can bedisplayed to provide reference for the staff.
