| In rapid development of science and technology nowadays, with the continuous improvement of economic level, car has gradually into innumerable homes because of its convenient, quick means of transportation performance. This makes the traffic load increase sharply, and results serious problems such as road congestion, frequent traffic accidents and etc, which have gradually become the primary processing problems in every country. All kinds of traffic violation events become common occurrence. Traditional method that relies on monitoring the site operation by personnel has been more and more not suitable for the development of nowadays society. And a new generation of traffic violation monitoring system.Traffic violation monitoring system is an effective method to solve the problem. It has an intelligent analysis function and based on computer image processing technology. It can test the vehicles of the area that need to monitor, then analysis and judge it. In this way, it improves traffic jams or crowded, makes the path unobstructed, alleviates traffic pressure.Traffic violation monitoring system is designed based on DSP, and selects a32-bit fixed-point TMS320DM642as the main chip which was product in2003by TI Company. The system integrated image processing technology, network communication technology and computer vision technology. Then designed the hardware platform of the system, including video capture module, video decoding module, video coding module, etc., as well as the circuit design of each module.Another work of this paper is to study the algorithm of vehicle detection. It elaborates the four kinds of algorithms in detail, including inter-frame difference method, background subtraction, background subtraction algorithm based on dynamic threshold and the background subtraction based on Gaussian mixture model. The paper tells the principle and implementation steps of it, and puts forward some innovation. And the paper makes a comparison of four kinds of algorithms by simulation. Through the simulation of different algorithms, the study of simulation results, pick out the appropriate algorithm to apply to this system and achieve the desired design goals. |
