The animal husbandry is the main part in western Inner Mongolia, which area has planted a lot of alfalfa in recent years.The new cut alfalfa is not fit for storing and transporting because of the high Moisture content. The quality of traditional drying methods is not high, which could also leads to environmental pollution. As clean and renewable energy, solar energy can solve the problems which caused by the traditional drying methods.The influence factors in the process of solar drying are not only the own factors of alfalfa itself but also relate to the combination with the drying process.so the research on how to get the better drying technology and drying process of the real-time detection device is necessary. This paper is based on the Alfalfa solar drying device which is designed by our own. This device includes detection of temperature and humidity, online moisture content detecting and online wind speed detecting.S3C2440A is the core of the hardware circuit, which includes temperature and humidity data acquisition circuit, wind speed data acquisition section and moisture content quality online detection. We select the digital temperature and humidity sensor SHT10as the temperature and humidity data acquisition circuit and EE65air velocity sensor as a wind speed data acquisition section; the circuit for detecting the moisture content is based on the weigh sensor, which could weigh the sample to achieve of moisture content quality online detection.Software design includes PC software design and the singlechip software design. The singlechip software design includes building the Linux cross environment, transplanting of Bootloader, making root files, and writing some hardware drivers. interface in PC is based on VB, which could complete real-time display, data storage and curve drawing, can make the staff get the actual situation in the oven during the process.Experimental results showed that alfalfa solar drying test system can meet the design requirements, and it also can detect the real-time temperature and humidity, wind speed and moisture, which provides the theory accurately for the study of influence factors in the alfalfa solar drying process and the relationship between the drying rates.
