YanXing Record is the precious record which was left by Korean envoys indiplomatic activities during Ming and Qing Dynasty. Korean Eastern Country UniversityPress published YanXing Record100volumes. Just as the editor Professor Lin Jizhongpointed out:" These records are not only in Korean and Chinese diplomatic history, butalso the heritages of east Asia’s politics, economy, society, academy and culture". Thisbook collection of more than300kinds of YanXing Record supplements Chinesehistorical data, and meanwhile, because of the author’s identity entities, the authorprovides a new perspective for comparative study of the two cultural customs.This article takes Vol.76YanXing diaries, YanCha Record, Heaven, Earth and Manas the research object, which is referred as YanCha for convenience for writing. It is theprecious record in dairy style which was left by northern Korean envoys in diplomaticactivities during Ming and Qing Dynasty. The author mainly examines the accurate timeand the author’s true identity and sums up the record contents, analyses its writingfeatures and expounds the academic value of literature.This article consists of6parts:Section One: Introduction. This paper briefly introduces the relationship betweenChina and Korea, tributary system and the definition of YanXing Record. Besides, itpresents the research situation of analysis of YanXing Record at home and abroad inrecent years.Section Two: Its author and current book edition. It checks and corrects the mistakesof time and author’s name in Vol.76. It analyses the book’s style and current version.Section Three: The main part. It observes the seven main aspects about heave andearth and the six topic contents about human beings.Section Four: The character. It analyses five characters about this book.Section Five: Its academic value. It contains the added value to history data,complement value to history events and comments on comparison of two countries’culture.Section Six: The existing problems. It shows the mistakes and errors of writing andknowledge in the76thvolume. It studies the causes of the mistakes as well.
