| In the past ten years,China has gone through a critical period of social transformation. Complex emergencies occurred frequently.How to deal with various types of emergencies has become the inevitable topic of the news media.With the development of the society, the domestic mainstream media’s news concept of emergency reports is also changing constantly.The change of the news concept not only embodied on the reporting practice,but also played an important role in guiding practice at the same time."XINWEN LIANBO"is a magnificent television news program of CCTV (China Central Television).To explore China’s mainstream media reports of domestic emergencies,"XINWEN LIANBO" is an unevadable object to observe.This paper is based on the theory of news discourse analysis. It is going to sum up the domestic major emergencies through nearly a decade’s (2003-2013) reports and select14cases, which is filtrated according to the definition of emergency issues (including public health,accident disaster and natural disaster). The paper will study the reports from4aspects-the use of word, sentence, narrative angle and narrative model.On the basis of these analysis,it will generalize the news discourse changes of "XINWEN LIANBO" on emergency issues.The paper will also treat the news discourse changes as a clue and explore the news concept changes of "XINWEN LIANBO" on emergency issues further more.Firstly,the focus of reports have changed from "people" to "events". Secondly,typical reports pay more attention to humanistic care.Finally,"XINWEN LIANBO" enhances its ability of information integration and its news release is more timely and more transparent.In the end,the paper will briefly discusses the relationships between the social vicissitude and mainstream media development from three aspects-the functions of the government, the media ecological environment and the media literacy. |
