Framework Analysis On Environmental Issues And Take People Website And Wangyi Website Reporting Fog Weather For An Example

Recently, along with the increasingly environmental pollution, air’squality caused by environmental pollution is worse and worse. And this problembecomes an attention focus. From the disastrous weather of freezing to such foggyweather, environmental issues jangle our nerves all the time. And now the fog weatheroccurs more frequently and it make the environmental issues hit the headlines andbecome the focus. Network media is regarded as new media and becomes animportant way to get or send message with its fast speed and wide range and pervadesvirtually every aspect of our life. What’s more important, network media has a greateffect on social life and public opinion and influence our cognition to event itself.When network media reports environmental issues, its reporting framework will havean effect on people’s cognition and it plays an increasingly important part in guidepeople’s cognition. Based on framework theory, using quantitative and qualitativeanalysis, this paper analyses the contents of People Website and Wangyi Website‘sreporting about fog weather and compares the two websites’ reporting framework.This paper is made up of five parts. The first part is to introduce the background,researching basis, significance and research situation. The second part is to introducethe researching methods. The third part is to analyze the reporting frameworks ofreporting fog weather and inquire their reporting characteristics. The forth part is toinquire the main factors affecting the selection of the two websites’ media framework.The last part is to discuss the breakthrough of network media reporting environmentalissues and fill a gap of network and environmental news research. Through theresearch, this paper found that the two different medias has its own reportingcharacteristics, appearing as the different distribution of theme and source ofinformation and the difference of the stand and language style. It mainly includes thefollowing aspects to affect their reporting framework. The first is the properties ofnews institutions, the second is ideological form, and the third is news values and itsmarketing position and so on.
