With the rapid development of electronic technology, modern electronic systems already have a more integrated and faster transmission speed. So it is important to consider the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of the system. EMC means that when the device subjected to electromagnetic interference (EMI), it can work properly, and the EMI generated during the devices’ operation can not disturb the other devices.This issue comes from the project" Digital printing control system implementation methods", then design a high speed data transmission system. Considering the system has a high operating frequency and works in a relatively complex electromagnetic environment. This paper forecasts the electromagnetic compatibility of the system, then optimization the printed circuit board (PCB).This paper begins with the demand of the project, and discusses the basic theory and advantages of USB2.0data transmission. Pull out the overall structure of the high speed data transmission system, the program is divided into3parts:PC program, firmware and FPGA control program, then introduces the hardware design ideas and circuit schematics in detail. Discusses and analyses the EMC design methods and study the problem of electromagnetic interference and high-speed signal transmission line theory, then proposes to optimize the layout of electromagnetic interference method. Compares the EMC of pre-optimized and optimized PCB, the system’s EMC has been significantly improved. The system can achieve two-way transmission for high-speed data, and through the optimization the PCB has a better EMC.
