Commercial vehicles performance requirements and test methods "(GB18565-2001) require that vehicles shall be arbitrarily transformed its structure, and the need for car size parameters for testing. Vehicle dimensions parameters become an vehicle parameters and run through an important part of safety testing.This tractate takes a brand new angle to propose a vehicle3-dimensions figure measuring method by the3-dimensional layout structure parallel light curtain sensor, In this paper, a brand new idea, through making the three-dimensional structure of light curtain sensor to as parallel light source and using the projective measuring principle. Vehicle3-Dimensions measuring system is a typical test and measurement system which have installed of a large number of sensor, manufactured the embedded IC board for high-speed and real-time data acquisition and control transmitting data through Ethernet PC program is easy to update and expand by using modern software design technology which can make sure the stability, ease of use and highly scalable of the program.Firstly, a detailed analysis of necessity and current research status about measurement of vehicle dimensions was made and a set of workable measuring solutions was proposed in this paper. Then it has introduced data acquisition based on ARM Contex-M3and highlights key of hardware circuit design. Embedded software was developed based on μC/OS-Ⅱ real-time operating systems and network protocol stack LWIP. In the design of the PC program, introduced Lab VIEW development platform firstly, then discussed and studied in-depth integrated application design patterns based on object-oriented programming and various functional modules programming. Testing and verifying stability and accuracy of system through real vehicles, indicates that the system to achieve the desired effects, meet the need of testing requirements. Finally this paper makes a summary and discusses the aspects which the system can improve continually. |
