This paper introduces a design based on ARM Cortex-M3USB dataacquisition system, the system is mainly divided into two parts: portable dataacquisition hardware and PC software based on the PC. The system acquisitionhardware circuit to realize signal conditioning and signal sampling and PCsoftware to realize data processing and result display function. This system selects the microcontroller based on ARM Cortex-M3as thecore of the acquisition hardware control unit, and thus the core constructs thesystem acquisition hardware circuit. Acquisition hardware regulates the inputanalog signals properly, and then sends them into the microcontroller based onARM Cortex-M3for signal sampling and data processing. Data must be sent tothe PC fast, the system adopted USB bus to realize the communication from theacquisition hardware unit to the PC software. This system based on the virtualinstrument technology party realizes processing data, display waveforms andanalysis waveforms, in digital signal processing field. As the emerging leadersfor the data acquisition system, the virtual instrument technology providesexcellent development platform, this system selects NI LabVIEW software asthe development platform for the PC software of the data acquisition system. The PC software has human-computer interaction interface window, and realizedata processing and results display function. The paper presents the design of data acquisition system hardware structurecompact concise, and the PC software function is perfect, as the system test, the data acquisition system can accurately and fast acquisition of the low frequencyanalog voltage signals, and can in the upper PC shows that the results, such assample data, waveforms, and can do real-time offline data analysis.
