While DSS has developed rapidly since its conception came into being in the 1970's,Data Mining has appeared and made an abruptly progress since 1980's. Through continual probing,studying,applying,developing and perfecting of many experts and scholars in the academic world for more than 20 years,the connotation of DSS's conception and its theoretical basics and its relation with other technologies have already been obvious are getting ripe. In the mean while,Data Warehouse has made a big development,it will provide a good solution to the difficulties which DSS are facing the problems of historical data and system integrating.Based upon the above,we suggest that II(Information Infrastructure) in corporations should be built. II is an information architecture which a successful corporation required very much. As an example,we introduce information management of science and technology in the university,including developing procedure,the rules of scientific research in the university,the work streams,the situations of the system,the status quote and characteristics of management,the probabilities of system,system analysis and designing as well.Then we show out the new changes of the Data Warehouse,the conception of the Data Warehouse,the system architecture,the stream of development and so on. Compared with C/S model of the Data Warehouse,B/S model come with many of advantages. Later Data Mart which is small Data Warehouses and Data Warehouse-based Decision Support System will be discussed.We do not use traditional development methods but the methods of Object-Oriented as a means of system analysis and design. After the details of metadata and object model will be discussed carefully,the Data Warehousing of science and technology in the university for an example is introduced,including requirement specifications,system analysis,system design and implements.The conclusion is summary of the whole paper. The good future of the scientificand researching management which we will own will be look forward to .
