With the national grid towards intelligent direction, will have full awareness,safety and reliability of information transmission, with intelligent processing featuresnetworking technology to the smart grid, so that the digital and automatic direction, inorder to improve transmission and transformation electrical equipment informationmanagement degree, power transmission equipment to ensure safe, stable and reliableoperation of equipment defects and resolve operational status information, such aslack of timely feedback, the device can not be hidden in time, lead to failure and otherissues, reform the traditional backward output substation equipment informationmanagement. This paper studies the networking technology in EPC encoding used intransmission and distribution equipment information management systems, powertransmission equipment, a full range of coding, to achieve its actual transmission anddistribution equipment used in information management systems.This paper introduces the key technologies of IOT EPC encoding relatedtechnologies, through the analysis of things EPC coding and coding rules currentelectrical equipment, according to the International Center announced things EPCcoding coding scheme, choose the right plan and develop input substation equipmentcoding rules, rules for the use of this encoding device for encoding actual substation,to achieve the substation primary equipment, secondary equipment and the full rangeof civil engineering systems coding. EPC encoded for transmission and distributionequipment and identification equipment carrier frequency identification systems wereintroduced, and power transmission equipment in the environment of the electronictag and reader’s choice will be explained, the last of electronic tags in the actualphysical substation installation and equipment levels for the actual installationprogram designed to meet the requirements of real power transmission anddistribution equipment company information management system.In this paper, under actual conditions of selected substations and powertransmission equipment, RFID hardware systems EPC encoding test, the test resultsshow that the choice of RFID hardware to achieve the requirements of powertransmission equipment, power transmission equipment to verify the actual EPCencoding applications, accuracy, availability, and practicality. Finally, this encodingand transmission equipment EPC RFID hardware systems were applied to the actualtransmission and distribution equipment information management system, the successful realization of the integration of field data transmission equipment display,device management, operations management and more. The test results show that theencoding and transmission equipment EPC RFID hardware systems in the actualtransmission and distribution equipment information management system to ensurereliable transmission and distribution equipment information collection, safe andstable operation.
