RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a non-contact identification technology springing up in1990s, which integrates microelectronics, communication technology, electromagnetic technology, internet and some other technologies. It’s widely used in social production, transportation, management and some other fields. In the process of RFID’s development, the problem of power consumption has always been one of the factors that restrict the development of active RFID. In order to reduce its power consumption, scholars have put forward wireless wake-up technology. For the electronic tag that utilizes wireless wake-up technology, when the wireless wake-up circuit receives the wake-up signal from the reader, the electronic tag processor would switch from sleep mode to operating mode so as to conduct data processing and communication; when there’s no signal received, it would stay in sleep mode. Due to a lack of high-performance power amplifier and RF Antenna, wireless wake-up technology is currently not practical enough for the wake-up distance required is too short, thus research on power amplifier and RF Antenna is of great significance. The present thesis firstly starts from electric wave’s transmission in the space, analyzes the power transmission of the whole system and works out a model of RD wake-up circuit. Then based on this model, the present thesis con-ducts a module analysis of the circuit, dividing it into six modules, namely the signal generator, power amplifier, transmitting antenna, receiving antenna, voltage doubling rectifying circuit and wake-up judging circuit and making clear the design requirements for each module based on the actual design conditions. Then the thesis conducts design simulations for each module and works out the circuit schematic diagram as well as the simulation results for corresponding modules and integrates them into a whole circuit system. After working out the circuit schematic diagram, the present thesis, according to the actual components, transforms the circuit schematic diagram into corresponding PCB board and further makes it into an actual RF wake-up circuit. The present thesis designs915MHz RF signal generator,42db power amplifier, smart UHF antenna and high-performance voltage doubling rectifying circuit and completes the whole set of design on RF wake-up circuit. The finished circuit is very practical and is of great significance in the solutions of such problems as active RFID power consumption and lifecycle of tag batteries.
