| In the perspective of protection of cultural heritage protection, this thesis hasfocused on the research status of TV programs of Archaeology and Museology andthe advantages, problems and countermeasures of the“Cultural Relic of TheWorld”channel which is one of the country’s first digital pay channels. This thesis hasbeen divided into four sections:Chapter one is the brief history of the TV programs of Archaeology andMuseology. By studying on the rise of the concept of cultural heritage protection andthe relations between Communication and cultural heritage, this chapter has teasedout the development process of TV programs of Archaeology and Museology whichinitial form is News Broadcast, and then Documentary and Column, and final form ischanel.Chapter two is about Digital television transmission in the perspective ofprotection of cultural heritage. Through the analysis of the superiority of digital TVtechnology’s participation in the cultural heritage propagation, the second chapter hasdiscussed on the characteristics of the times and trends of massization of digital TVprograms, and the appearance of Henan professional digital Premium channels.Chapter three has discussed the status of thef“Cultural Relic of TheWorld”channel of Henan TV, and analyzed the channel’s overall positioning,objective concept, Columns, broadcast features, management and the channel’sstrengths.Chapter four has in depth explored the problems of un-uniform overall style ofthe channel, the adequate performance of interactivity, and the insufficient use of newmedia resources, the lack of exploration of the program’s deep meaning and theinsufficient human resource and other issues. In order to solve the problems, thesuggestion is to strengthen program development, plan some popular scienceprograms of public archeology, extend new media platforms, comprehensivelydevelop and establish a compound talents training mode of cultural heritage protection and dissemination.The final part is Epilogue. In the reality environment of Network Media andMobile Media’s popularation, it has elaborated that how to consolidate the advantagesof specialized digital TV channels, how to improve ratings, satisfaction and loyalty inthe heated market competition, in order to make the protection and propagation ofcultural heritage to play a greater role in promoting the integration of differentcivilizations, exchanging and collision, and provide a strong impetus for theinnovation district construction of Chinese history and civilization heritance. |
