UI stands for user interface. Interactive products have been accepted by the users for theirpersonalized UI design, which also made the operation of human-computer interaction be fast and easy, andfully reflected the functionality and positioning of software.According to statistics,1288vocational colleges have the qualification of admission in the NationalCollege Entrance Examination, whose students’ number has reached10million. In this situation, how tocultivate high-quality talents with practical and advanced technology skills became a serious problem.More enterprises realized the importance of UI interface and they want to employ talents with capabilitiesof independent planning, product designing and visual planning. But many colleges do not haveprofessional courses of UI. To cultivate talents who can meet the needs of society, it is very necessary forcolleges to start the course of UI interface design.This paper researched UI design course teaching, faculty, professional settings, teaching content,training mode and other aspects of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, School of Arts and Crafts of Suzhou,Guangdong Panyu Polytechnic College, Rhine Education, Crystal education, etc. The author set a detailedset of UI course system in vocational colleges, including teaching hours allocation, time settings, the mainteaching content, amendments of students training programs, design of syllabuses, work-and–studytraining Mode, project-driven teaching, and so on.It is important to study the UI design course in vocational colleges, the scientific setting of the courseand class practice, to promote the start of UI interface design courses in more vocational colleges, theconstruction and development of art and design major, and diversity of students’ employment. Therefore,based on the teaching experience, the author combined theory with practice, classroom with enterprises,which would make the study be more profound and diversified.
