Design And Implementation Of WLAN Wireless Security Management System

With the rapid development of wireless network technology and widely used of mobile devices, wireless network seems to be the best choice of providing Internet service in public area such as shopping mail, restaurant and office. The task of monitoring and management of wireless network to ensure network and information security cannot be completed just by manpower because of the large number of access devices, unknown network users and unpredictable network usage behavior. Therefore, a wireless network management system for real-time monitoring becomes the best choice of new product for a network security company.This thesis discusses the design and implementation of WLAN wireless security management system based on the project of a network security company. Firstly, it describes the background of the project and introduces the key technologies which are used in development. Then it follows the main part, describing the process of requirement analysis, general design, overall design of the system architecture, implementation of each modules and system testing. In the end, it summarizes the whole thesis and gives the conclusion.The system is developed using Java language based on a self-developed web application framework. The parts which the author completed are as follows:project requirement analysis, request and response process, wireless security management, data analysis and defense command generating in security defense, platform service, basic developing tools and functional testing of the system. The system has been deployed and used in office areas of some companies, reducing the workload of network manager. Through the actual usage, the system will be improved by refining and can be accessed by other wireless security products.
