The Interactive Relationship Between Weibo And TV Investigative Reporting

In the era of new media, represented by Weibo, social mediashows a huge amount of energy. Facing such an influence and pressure, newsacademia and journalism generally believed that Investigative Reporting is the“magic weapon” to compete new media which is represented by Weibo. In the era ofnew media, we can see the media landscape that some of the information presentedby Weibo will be news clues for traditional media, and when traditional mediareceive this information, the news will be produced professionally, and then, whenthe news reports presented in traditional media platforms, it will be received byWeibo and get a wider range of broadcasting. According to the observation, TVinvestigative reporting is not stick to the traditional mode of news production, butactively seek to form a kind of cooperation relationship with Weibo. Therefore, thereshows a certain interactions relationship. So, what is the interactive relation? How’sthe mode of interaction? what’s the effects of the interaction? These problems arethe focus in this article.In recent years, there are a lot of cases of the interactions between Weibo andTV investigative reporting. This article will take Sina Weibo, and the news of theSuspected Red Cross and "who is Guo Meimei" as cases, using qualitative analysisand quantitative analysis methods, literature research, text analysis, case analysis,comparative study method and other methods to study the interactive relationshipbetween Weibo and TV Investigative Reporting.This paper shows that there is an obvious interaction between Weibo and TVinvestigative reporting, and briefly describe the process as：Weibo presenting factsthat can be used by traditional media�'Weibo users showing interests anddiscussing�'investigative reporter concern�'investigative team manufacture�'program complete�'broadcasting�'Weibo receive�'Weibo users showing interestsand discussing again�'program spread show�'investigative reporter tracking the information�'Weibo receive again...�'Interaction continue. In combination withthe interactive mode, this paper gives some suggestion on the TV InvestigativeReport how to use Weibo effectively.
