Project "SG186" of State Grid Corporation is the beginning of comprehensive upgrade for grid informatization in China. Implementation of ERP bring brand new look for State Grid Corporation, and play a good role in promoting to various management activities, including logistics activities. With the social continuous progress, logistics requirements will be higher and higher. While the congenital deficiency of ERP, ERP will can’t satisfy the hiher requirements. Therefore, it’s worth exploring the subject research on ERP-based logistics information systems analysis and design for power enterprise.The paper analyzed the logistics functions and logistics informatization situation of the ERP used in State Grid Corporation, and then, proposed improvement program in logistics information management based on ERP. Firstly, basic theoretical knowledge of ERP and logistics management had been introduced, dispersed logistics activities had been analyzed, and logistics functional defects in ERP and difficulties in logistics management had been summarized. Simultaneously, core management thoughts in logistics management has been told. Then, based on the above, comparison between existing logistics functions and logistics system functions was conducted. Last, specific measures in all links of ERP-based internal logistics information management is given.Whole process of internal logistics functions was integrated with the aim of achieving high efficiency and high benefit. In view of the life cycle, logistics information technology was proposed for actual situation. Moreover, the key points of implementation is given.
