In recent years, every aspect of life everywhere, with the rapid development ofelectronic technology, revealed the breath and convenience brought by the science andtechnology. The radio frequency identification technology is the key for thedevelopment of information network technology. Radio frequency identificationtechnology, which is a non-contact automatic identification technology, used radiowaves carrying information stored about the identified object or commands to identifyobjects.The research on radio frequency identification technology is developing rapidlythese years. The RFID system contains the tags, reader and back-end computer system.RFID reader, as the front sensor, is an indispensable part in the whole system.Based on the research of UHF radio frequency identification technology and EPCClass1Generation2protocol, this dissertation present a design scheme for the RFIDreader. In the deep background of the UHF radio frequency identification technology,the system design scheme is determined eventually. Firstly, the thesis discusseddevelopment history, current situation and development trend of radio frequencyidentification technology at home and abroad, exceptly, the paper also discusses itsimportant role and status in the information network and researches the necessity of thetechnology; Secondly, this paper analyzes the physical interface and communicationmode of EPC Class1Generation2protocol. By understanding the agreement, thepaper identifies the encoding and the decoding methods of the forward link and returnlink in the system; Again, the chip selection and function realization of radio frequencyidentification system are completed, including PLL phase-locked loop module,modulation module, a power amplifier module, filter module, isolation transceivermodule, antenna module, demodulation module, small signal amplifier module, thecomparator module, schmitt trigger module and FPGA module; Finally, we designs adigital baseband based on FPGA and debugs the system.
