Abstract/Summary:
With the characteristics of all day, all weather, high resolution and long distance,synthetic aperture radar (SAR) has been widely used in military and civil fields. SARreal-time imaging system and ship monitoring constitute the main direction of the SARapplied research. In this paper, we present a SAR real-time imaging system byconstructing a multi-tasking embedded system which use the VxWorks OS as operationsystem. And a ship detection algorithm based on adaptive windows method is proposed.In the SAR real-time imaging system, we introduce the real-time operation systemVxWorks to separate the hardware development from the software development, whichreduce the whole system development cycle. In the ship detection algorithm, theconception of adaptive windows is created to overcome the disadvantages which thefixed size of detected windows and moving step produced in the traditional shipdetection algorithm.In this paper, we briefly expound the general principle of SAR imaging algorithm.And then, we propose an improved SAR image ship detection algorithm based on theanalysis of traditional algorithm, also verify its effectiveness. After that, the hardwareand software development environment under the knowledge of real-time operationsystem VxWorks is introduced. In the end of this paper, a SAR real-time imagingsystem is introduced in detail. We verify the feasibility of the system by the experiment.Finally, this paper discussed the farther work.
