Due to the depletion of the IPv4address, we have entered the era of IPv6network.MIIT announced the construction of IPv6network in May2011. But most of ISPs donot want to rise to the IPv6. So in a long time, we must face the coexistence of IPv4andIPv6. IPv6transition technology is very significant. This article is used to implementthe DS-Lite system.The paper researches the design and implementation of IPv6evolution solutionbased on DS-Lite. First of all, I studied the related technology of DS-Lite deeply. Then,I analysed RFC6333and RFC6334carefully. At last, I demonstrated the feasibility ofDS-Lite system base on the router platform. In this paper, we adopt the traditionalsoftware development process. And then I have completed the DS-Lite functions.The DS-Lite system has been passed a rigorous testing by developer and testingdepartment. It completed the function that IPv4users could access IPv4serversacrossing the IPv6networks. It reaches the design goals.
