With the rapid development of intelligent terminal technology, and the rapid spread of related products, more and more people tend to enjoy the services of network anytime, anywhere, which greatly promoted the rapid development of mobile internet applications. While accelerating integration of the mobile Internet and cable Internet provides a better foundation for the development of "strong background"+"thin client" mode. New technologies, such as cloud computing, Internet of things, smart home, and so on, gradually incorporated into the intelligent terminal provide adequate external support for the development of Internet applications. In this context, the research and development of applications based on intelligent terminal and wireless networks has become a hot topic and focus. In the future, the major development trend of mobile Internet is connecting smart terminal equipment and the cloud server with the mobile Internet, to provide richer applications for users.This paper designs a monitoring system, based on Embedded Linux platform and Android platform, to accomplish the information and intellectualization management in aquaculture. This system is designed to use the monitoring terminal-server-mobile client three-layer structure to achieve the goal of remote monitoring with the combination of Internet of Things and mobile Internet.This paper has mainly achieved results below:1. According to the relationship between environmental factors and livestock animals in farms, we choose temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentration, ventilation and animal’s daily living conditions in farms to study. On this basis, we select monitoring hardware and build development environment, and design software framework and realize each functional modules.2. This monitoring terminal contains environmental monitoring sensor and Video surveillance cameras. The sensor use ZigBee wireless communication technology and the camera use wifi connected to the data management server platform, on which some functions are realized, such as user registration, device registration, data collection, video surveillance and management. The user can access the data management platform by a variety of terminals, read various environmental parameters and monitor videos. 3. As a platform, Android gets JSON data analysis and obtains test data from the server by the HTTP protocol, achieve a remote login server, realize the environmental factors monitoring, video surveillance, automatic setting and other functions. The HTTP protocol helps achieve access to multiple platforms, expand the scope of mobile devices support.Experiments show that this program can effectively monitor environmental factors of farms in time and realize some functions such as the mobile terminal of farm monitor, video surveillance. It also could adjust farm environment remotely and alarm under unusual circumstances. It has the advantages of timely, stable and convenient.
