With the improve of the informatizationin modern society,the signal processing system that built on general-purposeprogrammable DSPs has been widely used in areas such asAviation, aerospace, radar, sonar, communications and homeappliances for its powerful Processing capacity andflexibility.Application in high-performance signal processing requestsystem to achieve real-time processing, reliability andstability. As the result,testing and maintenance for thehigh-performance signal processing system is as important asits designing and developing.The current way to do the testingand controlling is too little, Inefficient, and lack ofstandardized processes.It’s difficult to meet therequirements of the application.The paper researched that howto build a System testing and controlling platform that havesimple operation, Standardization, intelligence andvisualization,to finish the work better.Firstly, Paper studies the structure of a high-performancesignal processing systems, analyzes the interact and dataaccess between host computer and the DSPs, Demonstrates thehardware basis for the platform.As a number of devices andinterfaces exist in the system,and the system’s interconnectcomplexity, paper analyzes the functional requirements of theplatform,including the function to operate the DSPs,test thesystem and monitor system status. Then paper proposesthedesign programfor the platform.For the difficulties encountered in the design of theplatform, studiestook advantage of the relevant technical tosolve the problems such as DSPs power on initialization,communication between the host computer andDSPs group and DSPs external bus bootloading.By this weaccomplish the information exchange and coordinate betweenhost and slave, and ensure that platform’s precise controlof system operation and real-time monitoring of system status.According to the functional requirements and the frameworkof the platform,we designed and implementedeach part of theprogram in platform. PC program was written by Visual Studiotool, it is responsible for the Interactive interface,controlling the executionof testing process, getting andprocess the information. DSP programs was written by CCS, theyrun on DSP to accomplish the Specific task, for example,totest a module. We also design Interactive program to transferthe information between PC programs and DSP programs.Through all of this,we completed the design andimplementation of system testing and controlling platform,and made it perfectly meet the requirements of systemmanagement and maintenance for integrated, intelligent andvisualization.We indentified the feasibility and versatilityof the platform through the experiment, made It available inapplication.
