Modern electric motor needs the team work of a large number of researchers. Itscontent includes electromagnetic design, heating and cooling, structural designand mechanical calculation, noise and vibration, productionand testing, transportation and installation, and so on. It involves various fields, allkind of software, and huge amount of data. Traditional motor design lack systematicplatform and method, and separates the design sections artificially, which results inthe need of continuously coordinating the calculation parameters. Thereby,Traditional motor design not only reduces the motor’s overall performance, but alsoleads to long development cycle, low efficiency, and high requirements onthe empirical data, but unsatisfactory effect.Motor digital cooperative design platform aims to establish the linkbetween different subjects and software system in process of motor design, andbuild the cooperation between the R&D research teams. On the platform,project management and data management comes true. At each stage,CAD, CAE, CAPP, CAT are integrated. The input/output data identifier and formatof each software system are unified. And the middle interfaces of all CAXsoftware system are unified based on plug-in design idea. Therefore, by means of thisplatform, data can transport and be controlled between different systems andthe cross-system data coupling and design can be easier and more scientific. Themain work of this paper is to complete the development of this platform and discussthe following issues:1. The background, significance, and reference review were presented.2. The function frameworks were discussed in detail, and the development planwas put forward, including technical requirements, technical implement and technicalcharacteristics.3. This paper proposed a set of precise security design scheme.(1) The systemarchitecture adopted a three-tier distributed architecture, applied.Net Remotingtechnology, and designed a separation mechanism to separate the systemconfiguration from the corporation’s main businesses.(2) The permission applicationincluded the role-based function privilege and the multi-stage approval confirmation,and focused on the sector-based or project-based data authority application and thesecret grade filtration mechanism.(3) The landing authentication mechanismspecially applied multi-layer registration authorization, besides user loginauthentication, log record, and password protection.(4) The software was developedby those technologies including encryption assembly confusion, data integrity verification, transaction rollback, dynamic menu and dynamic button. Particularly, thefile upload-download encryption and compression technology was introduced.4. The mixed programming technology for Matlab and VC was achieved. Theframework to insert CPP code into VC is introduced in detail by establishing adocument and establishing a text toolbar, which is the method to establish a generalinterface device between Matlab and VC.5. Mathcad software integration in the general engineering design anddevelopment platform based on.NET was proposed. This paper introduces thePlug-in design method and overcomes the difficulties including variable coverage inMathcad worksheets and variable type extension in Mathcad,COM object release.The platform has been used in an enterprise with satisfactory test results,which shows that it has obvious advantages in many aspects, and has a goodprospect of application.
