Study On The Operation And Management Of The Co-Construction Library Between University Libraries And Local Public Libraries

The joint-use library that funded by the local government and the university which has dualfunctions of university library and public library is a new pattern of providing service of informationresources to the community users and university users together.The joint-use library can provideservice of information resources to the government,enterprises and social public and meet the societyabout the information resources needs. Through building a joint-use library,university library is ableto speed up the process of development,promote deeper digging university libraryresources,development and utilization,and that can help university library and public library toexpand their awareness and social influence in their own fields and other areas. There are theincreasingly needs of joint-use library to achieve the goal of information sharing and thedevelopment of library career,there also is a new initiative to create a harmonious society andconservation-oriented society.However，in the recently decade,the development of joint-use librarybetween government and university has emerged a variety of obstacles and difficulties,which areaffecting the normal operation and sustainable development of joint-use library seriously.this masterdegree thesis is based on the empirical analysis，and the theoretical framework of holisticmanagement is introduced, then study of the operation and management of joint-use library isdiscussed,take the above mentioned into consideration，the whole research in order to provide ideasand reference about the normal operation and sustainable development of joint-use library.In this master degree thesis,a variety of research method such as literature researchmethod,literature bibliometrics method,theoretical analysis and comparative analysis have beenused,through accessing to a large number of domestic and foreign resources to the existingliterature,using of induction and deduction,analysis and synthesis,abstraction and generalization,andCNKI as the data source,the paper has counted on the annual distribution,journalsdistribution,authors and institution of the research literature on domestic joint-use library in fifteenyears,and also has a more comprehensive grasp about the research progress of domestic and foreignjoint-use library.By analyzing a large number of empirical case cited the United States,Australia,Sweden,South Africa,China,etc.the foreign joint-use library and domestic joint-uselibrary and between the different joint-use libraries,there is a multi-angle comparative analysis, andanalyze the joint-use library origin and establish conditions,the similarities and differences mode ofoperation,and then the successful experiences of foreign joint-use library and the outstandingproblems of domestic joint-use library are summarized. followed by the introduction of theory fromsight of holistic governance,combine and empirical analysis of the outstanding issues,the keyfactor,through the idea of multi-lateral cooperation and vertical integration of authority to build atheoretical framework, based on this theoretical framework,the study intend to sought to defusemeasures and strengthen the implementation of measures targeted and practical research, in order toimprove the operation and management of countermeasures system and enrich the measures,makeefforts to build a holistic managemental pattern that appropriate to the operation and management ofjoint-use library,finally achieve to promote the development of library career.
