This paper aimed at Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) in order to studyits speed control performance. Since the PMSM with nonlinear, strong coupling,multi-variable characteristics, while traditional controller design has not been meet therequirement of the higher performance of ac speed regulating system drive, a variety ofadvanced control strategies are needed to achieve high performance speed. A modified fuzzytechnology control is a proposed control method based on the traditional proportionintegration differentiation (PID) control, the technology can not only improve the traditionalPID control quality, but also enhance the system flexibility and adaptability, it can greatlyimprove the performance of AC permanent magnet synchronous motor speed control system.The main research work and achievements are as follows:(1)The mathematic models of PMSM in three-phase stationary coordinate andtwo-phase rotating coordinate were established by the coordinate transformation theory, usingthe vector control strategy of id0and the control scheme with two closed loops of currentand speed, and taking the voltage space vector pulse width modulation as the modulationalgorithm. and the principle of the vector control, principle and algorithm implementation ofSVPWM are introduced in detail.(2)In order to effectively improve traditional PID controller of PMSM drives, a kind offuzzy adaptive speed controller design method is proposed in the paper This control systemuses MATLAB/simulink software to establish a simulation model based on fuzzy logic speedcontrol system of permanent magnet synchronous motor space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM). The control system can simulate PMSM system, in which the current loop usePID control and speed loop use fuzzy adaptive PID control. the simulation results verify thecorrectness and the effectiveness of the control algorithm of the model.(3)Choosing German Infineon company XE164chip and intelligent power module6ED003L06F, equipped with perfect peripheral circuits to complete the hardware designsystem. On software design, the system adopts C language programming and the thought ofblocking. The experimental results show that the fuzzy adaptive PID control algorithm canmake speed control system has good dynamic and static characteristics.
