In the long process of historical development, all ethnic groups in China has beencreate a rich and colorful, broad and profound religious cultural resources. The fieldof Humanities and social sciences has accumulated a lot of valuable information, butthe means of protection is very short. In view of the current situation of aworrying China religious art heritage protection, with the processing of theproject, we found that combine the new media technology to protect theprecious artistic heritage is very effective. So this thesis, the new media method isapplied to the religious culture protection, we try to establish an effective frameworkof the platform for following researchers,and throw a stone to clear the road.This thesis is based on one of the "2011National Social Science Fund (thirdinstallment)" project," Chinese religious art heritage survey and digital preservation,collation and research (Grant No.11&ZD185)", It expends around the field ofdigital protection of the heritage of religious and art, stating the design andimplementation work of the hypermedia information platform in detail. In this thesis,as an information visualization work, we mainly make a combination of informationmanagement and digital map service, we try to build bridges between the theory ofdigital and anthropology, connect the “religious art heritage surveys” and the “digitalpreservation”, suggest a new idea of the digital protection of the heritage of religiousand art. In detail, it includes the design and deployment for the three subsystems. Theplatform adopting j2ee,js,jQuery technique, implement the layered architecturesubsystems. The Map Information System is used for users to learn and study,contains keyword search module, religious classification search module, art period classification search module, type of art classification searchmodule, artistic details spots learning module, map navigation module and so on. TheMap management System is used for manager to manage the map information andreligious data, contains managements of religious classification module, art periodclassification module, art type classification module, upload pictures andrecommendation module, the system log module and so on. The Literature System isused for users to borrow and manage the Literature off-line. Contains System settingsmodule, user management module, document and type management module, thereader information and the type management module, borrow and return module andso on. Both of them are strictly in accordance with the method of the softwareengineering,including system requirements analysis, preliminary design, detaileddesign, implementation, and deployment. Emphasizes the expression of digitalinformation fusion effect, is the main direction of this thesis. The hypermediainformation platform is designed to “break” the museum walls, open hypermedia dataplatform that allows continuous supply of content, self-study by researchers around.In this thesis project, we Enhance the effect of the information expressionBy applied Web GIS to MIS, combine the religious art information, geographicinformation and the information management technology, digitize the artistic heritageto save, organize and research, it’s the main value lies in the application of newmedia technologies, digitize and systematize the representation of different types ofChinese religious art heritage, and serve for the Social culture constructionThesis involve both software engineering and sociology and anthropologydomain, hoping to take advantage of Web GIS technology in the field of religious artheritage play a secondary effect, and combined with the local real religion databaseand build an application system,if the result comes well, we can applied to futuremore in-depth exploration and research.
