Research On The Key Technologies Of Multi-format RF Signal Source

With the development of the wireless communication technologies andcommunication countermeasure technologies, there are more and more wirelesstransceiver equipments for different applications. A multi-format radio frequency signalsource is playing a more and more important role in testing of equipment, improving theresearch efficiency and shortening the R&D period. According to the requirement of thetask, this article has a research on the key technologies about building the multi-formatRF signal source. The main contents of this paper include：Firstly the development of signal sources, RF signal sources and relativetechnologies are introduced briefly. Then theoretical basis about the RF signal sources,the direct digital synthesizer and carrier modulation technology are detailed analyzed.At last a method is developed which is used for the suppression of DDS spurious basedon the structure of cascade accumulators, and its effect is proved through a simulation.Secondly a multi-format RF signal source scheme based on the FPGA and DDS ispresented, the design and realize of the key structures are also researched. Then thesimulations in QuartusⅡ proving these structures can realize the prospective functions.At last the designed hardware platform is tested and analyzed.Finally two signal sources that have a complicated modulation format areresearched, including the key technologies and the specifications of these signal sources.Then these two signal sources are realized with the designed platform, based on thefoundation of research. In this process, the superiority and the weakness of this schemeare analyzed, with which showing the direction of improving the scheme and theresearch.
