Wireless sensor networks as a new information collection system, applied to thefield of mechanical equipment condition monitoring, not only can improve theflexibility, maintainability and scalability of the monitoring system, but also to achievethe monitoring of moving, rotating equipment. So it has great value in engineering.However, in practical mechanical vibration monitoring applications, especially thehigh-frequency vibration signal synchronous acquisition application put forward higherrequirements for wireless sensor networks. After analyzing the characteristics and actualdemand of wireless sensor networks in machinery and equipment condition monitoringapplications, on the basis of a wireless sensor network node WSNs-G2.2which isdeveloped by our research group, this paper present a new adaptive synchronousacquisition method for mechanical vibration monitoring using wireless sensor networkswhich can achieve high-precision mechanical vibration signal synchronous acquisition;At the same time, a novelty kind of multi-channel MAC protocol for wireless sensornetworks, which can improve the performance of network throughput, latency andpacket loss rate when compared with the original protocol, is designed to ensure reliabletransmission of data information; Finally, through the comparing steel rectangular frameexperimental modal analysis, the adaptive synchronization acquisition method isverified.Firstly, according to the characteristics of wireless sensor networks and the actualdemand in the machinery and equipment condition monitoring applications, on the basisof a wireless sensor network node WSNs-G2.2developed by our research group, anadapt synchronous acquisition method for mechanical vibration monitoring usingwireless sensor networks come out. The method sends synchronization commands toperiodically synchronize started by radio, start cross-layer collecting and compensatethe accumulated error to improve synchronization accuracy, through measurement,calculation and compensation to automatically compensating synchronization error, thenachieve high-precision synchronization acquisition.Then by analyzing the requirements of fulfilling high network transmissionproperty when the amounts of data is large, from improving network throughput, reducelatency and load balancing aspects, this paper propose a new multi-channel MACprotocol for wireless sensor networks. The protocol uses a multi-channel distribution method to reduce interference and conflict, and uses the way of subcontractorsretransmission mechanism to improving network reliable transmission performance. ByOPNET simulation of different nodes through analog performance throughput, latencyand load network scenarios to verify the validity of this agreement.Finally, based on the simultaneous acquisition method and reliable transportprotocol, the method which can be used in WSNs-G2.2is applied to the steel framesynchronous vibration signal acquisition, analysis by state comparison of experimentalmodel using synchronous acquisition methods and not using the synchronousacquisition method of experiment results demonstrate the effectiveness of this method.Then the transmission performance of wireless sensor networks is comparativelyanalysed and the results show that the network throughput, packet loss rate and otherproperties are improved.
