Industrial camera in machine vision system is an important part of the testingenvironment.This topic from providing laboratory with economization and miniaturizationof the goal of image acquisition front-end and to design a VGA interface based CMOScamera industry.This paper briefly introduces the system involved in the design of hardware andsoftware development environment and VGA display principle, focuses on the image signalstorage and display system, based on the FPGA system with FPGA as the core of the digitalprocessing, divided into image acquisition module, image storage module and image displaymodule to design implementation. Image acquisition module through the data conversionsoftware will convert RGB image data, using IIC bus to RGB data sent to the SDRAM;Image storage module in-depth study the working principle of SDRAM, SDRAM controlleris designed, and the collected image signal stored in SDRAM, and on the basis of SDRAMread-write sequence control to complete the image signal input and output function; Imagedisplay module, VGA interface controller is designed, and through CMOS switching chipdigital signals into analog signals the RGB format, so that the VGA display shows. Thismethod realizes the intelligent acquisition and display picture, to improve the reliability ofimage acquisition and display, on the basis of the complete system design, by usingprofessional SignalTab software modules of system simulation and debugging, combinedwith the result of simulation to download the entire system module to the board byexperiment, the final result of the final draw without dithering images can be shown, thecolor that never really industrial camera to meet the design requirements.
