Linear array imaging devices have the characteristics of fast scanning speed and highresolution, they are widely applied to the workpiece size measurement, surface qualityinspection, sorting, etc. When the detection field increases, the linear array camera sensor onthe surface of the intensity of illumination nonuniformity is becoming more serious, whichaffect the imaging quality of camera. At the same time, along with the increase of thedetection field, imaging device resolution, the consistency of the optical system, scanningspeed are difficult to meet the demand of higher detection. Therefore, based on the problems of resolution, scanning speed and intensity ofillumination consistency in single camera imaging model, this paper designed the splicingtype linear array CMOS imaging system based on FPGA. Through the multiple parallelcontrol of CMOS sensor and image splicing technology, to achieve the fast and high accuracydetection of wide field information. This paper first overall designed the splicing type lineararray imaging system, then mainly studied multi-sensor parallel control and high speed dataacquisition and transmission; This paper also studied the system of image stitching algorithm,at the same time aiming at the problem of uneven image plane illumination, the paperdesigned the corresponding correction algorithm, and finally realize the effective detection ofwide field information. In the design of splicing type line array imaging system, the number of sensors can beadjusted to meet the requirements of testing a larger field of view; At the same time morecamera imaging model can realize effective segmentation of field, which reduces the singlechip nonuniformity of illumination, and improve the detection accuracy. On the other hand, the sensors are in parallel control mode, which are benefit to the raise of scanning speed.
