Research On Network Automatic Construction Based On Software Router

The internet security events break out frequently, the security situation of theinternet environment is getting worse and worse day by day. Aimed at improvingthe security situation of the internet environment, researchers hope to get the realdata of the events for study. But it requires a real network for reproducing theevents to get the data, the demand of getting a large-scale virtual network closed tothe real one is becoming more and more intense.The traditional construction method of the virtual network only focus on thevirtualization of the physical resources, and can not get the complete virtualnetwork. The virtual machine requires manual configuration to get the completevirtual network finally. The degree of automation and efficiency of this method isvery low. To solve this problem, a virtual network automatic construction methodbased on software router is proposed. According to the real network, the methodcan constructure the virtual network automatically.This paper carries out the research on the virtualization technology andproposes using the KVM(Kernel-based Virtual Machine) and Click to get the hostand router of the virtual network. And then we put forward a automaticconfiguration method of the virtual machines to get the complete virtual network.Based on the research on the performance of Click software router, we find theClick’s routing lookup component has poor efficiency. It leads to the Click softwarerouter can not guarantee the communication quality when used in large-scalenetwork. By studying the traditional routing lookup algorithm, a algorithm basedon Hash and Patricia is proposed. By optimizing the routing lookup componentusing this algorithm, the performance of Click software router has been improved.According to the virtual network automatic construction method based onsoftware router, this paper designs and implements a virtual network automaticconstruction system and carrys out experiments on it. The experimental resultsindicate that the virtual network automatic construction method based on softwarerouter can constructure virtual network closed to the real one automatically, and theconstructed virtual network can be used for reproducing the internet security events.
