| The Column Insight, launched by CCTV Integrated channel, is acharacters-oriented news documentary, which mainly records the life of the publicunder dramatic social transformations and changes of times, and the content of whichis either narrative about people’s life, or interview of celebrities, or exploration ofinner heart behind the events. In short, people are always at the core of this column.Chapter2briefly introduces relevant theory researches, covering TV programforms, news documentary, etc. Chapter3comprehensively introduces relevantknowledge about Insight, laying emphasis on analysis to find how it positions itselfand to obtain new concept about news documentary on the basis of expression formsand content of Insight. In chapter4, we do case studies by analyzing the content oftypical programs in Insight, and on the basis of such analysis, the relationshipbetween the general and the individual manifested in the form and unique elements ofthis program will be researched deeply. The column Insight has been a great successform the beginning, but it is also blemished with many problems. Therefore, chapter5will start from analysis of its achievements and existing problems, and chapter6willstart from enlightenments for other columns and focus on problem-solving from theaspects of experience and lessons, in the hope that under the impact of internet andnew-media, TV will highly highlight its social responsibility through its advantagesby laying great emphasis on insightful report and humane care. |
