The architecture of current education cloud uses a data center model, which putsapplication and desktop entirely on the data center. Students of various schools can connectto the cloud desktop of data center, and get teching service. On condition of a large numberof concurrent users connecting to the cloud desktop, the demand for bandwidth can not besupported in the current network architechture. Based on the above characteristic, Ipropose the solution of education cloud based on Large-small Cloud Structure, whichseparates the real-time computing business and the data providing business. In this solution,we can continue to advance the promotion of computer-aided teaching system in the caseof existing network. In the Large-small Cloud Structure, large cloud is responsible for thedata providing business and small cloud is responsible for the real-time computingbusiness.Large cloud is composed by many small clouds, it centralizes the management andmonitoring of small clouds through cloud accessing and cloud monitoring system (alsocalled large cloud management system). In this paper, the combination of virtual classroomsystem, cloud accessing and cloud monitoring system and all data center are calledLarge-small cloud structure, and it is used to unify the management of all cloud resources,desktop distribution and cloud monitoring.The large-small cloud structure is designed to automate the management of smallcloud. Cloud accessing and cloud monitoring system achieves the accessing andmonitoring of small cloud, the pushing and recovery of applications. Small cloud provides DaaS (Desktop as a Service) to the users. Virtual classroom system automates the lifecyclemanagement of cloud desktop, including cloud desktop creation, distribution,customization and destruction.The paper aims to realize the distribution agent of virtual classroom system, andremote agent of virtual classroom system, as well as cloud accessing and cloud monitoringsystem based on large-small cloud structure. The agent is used to centralize themanagement and distribution of cloud desktop resources, and it provides a unifiedaccessing interfaces. Small cloud is accessed to large cloud through the cloud accessingand cloud monitoring system, and it is monitored by large cloud.The traditional way of cloud desktop distribution binds user to a desktop once youcreate the desktop, but this way cannot adapt to the dynamic changes of user needs, andcannot realize the maximize usage of desktops. The distribution agent allocates desktoponce the request arrived, and it uses a smart distribution strategy to achieve high efficiency,high availability and high stability allocating process. It works fine in the condition of highconcurrency and long network delay.The cloud accessing of large-small cloud structure can realize an efficient, safe andfast access to large cloud. It builds a two-way secure data transmission channel betweensmall cloud and large cloud, and it uses the technology of data compression and dataretransmission t to realize seamless accessing, even in the case of low bandwidth and highlatency. The cloud monitoring realizes the real-time monitoring on physical cluster, virtualservice and key logs of virtual classroom system. It offers simple, intuitive and usablemonitoring graphs. Cloud accessing and cloud monitoring system is capable of monitoringtheir regular tasks and fixing the exceptions automatically.The main innovation of this system:(1) achieve the distribution of cloud desktop asfirst needed, the dynamic desktop awaken and redistribution policy;(2) proposed thesystem of cloud accessing and cloud monitoring based on large-small cloud, and achievean accessing and monitoring system of double cloud structure.
