With the rapid development of modern industry and science, the automation equipment gradually comes into all kinds of fields, while its safety, reliability and effectiveness is increasingly in higher and higher demanding. As a result, it becomes an urgent problem to solve, monitoring the device’s status and running process. This thesis proves that base on the automation-equipment monitoring we can effectively detect behavior anomalies appearing during the operation, and integrate the detected data with the video data, base on which we can then build a calibration of the model. It is of important significance on the automate-equipment’s monitoring and analysis of anomalies.First of all, the paper analyzes and summarizes the domestic and foreign research status of equipment monitoring and video monitoring, points out their characteristics and shortage, and shows the purpose and meaning of this topic.Secondly, aiming at the shortcomings of the existing equipment monitoring technology, this paper discusses the characteristics of automation equipment deeply, based on finite state automaton, equipment was divided into many modules, and equipment state and transition were recognized by the state set and state change of modules, and an equipment behavior state model was achieved, so that this model can accurately describe the operation of the equipment. By comparing the upcoming equipment actions, states and state transition path with the defined equipment behavior state model, and the abnormal behavior was detected during the operation process of the equipment.Thirdly, aiming at the shortcoming of the existing video monitoring technology, on the basis of automation equipment monitoring model, give the video calibration model of automation equipment by the medium of time, which realize the real time fusion of status data and video data, and synchronous fusion of abnormal data and video data in automation equipment, and help monitor judge the equipment abnormal situation more intuitively and quickly.Finally, using Visual Studio, FMS, and other development platform tools, we work out the model of automation-equipment’s monitoring and video calibration. And using the automated manipulator as the experimental object, we established the simulation model of the manipulator automation, have the prototype system tested, which illustrates that the automata model of the automation-equipment’s monitoring and video calibration is effective.
