P2P Application became prevalent from the end of the last century to thebeginning of this century，it grows very fast，until today, P2P data flow has accountedfor more than60%of the broadband network flow, brings great convenience but alsobrings a lot of problems, such as copyright disputes and regulatory issues, for theoperator P2P cause the network congestion and raises the cost pressure, and theoperators not only faces the bandwidth pressure but also faces pipeline threat, in theInternet developing process especially in the mobile Internet developing processoperators acts as a pipeline role. How to develop P2P technology itself, the operatorhow to use technical means and management strategy coping with P2P impact is thefocus of the current study, at the same time whether the operator can use P2P as anfeasible escape method from the pipeline threat are also very worthy of study.This paper studies the principles of P2P technology, the P2P development historyand the future direction of P2P development, including the P2P applicationdevelopment, problems and possible solutions, summed up the business andtechnological change needed by the future development of the P2P. Then study of theP2P recognition technology, flow limiting and cache system deployment of operators,planning of future solutions of P2P, summed up and provide a variety of P2Precognition method, give the operators a deployment program coping with P2P andgive operators future management strategy change proposal.on the basis of the current P2P application study, this paper analyzes the possiblefuture development direction of P2P, the first is the important technical evolutiondirection--P4P, then analyzes copyright and regulatory and business model issues ofP2P applications also gives suggestions. Under the premise of that the copyright andregulatory issues are resolved, multi-party cooperate and reasonable share profit, jointtogether to promote the industry development, to find stable and profitable businessmodel.Operators need to constantly innovate and change the technology andmanagement methods of P2P processing to deal with the development of P2P, P2Ptraffic identification technology is the first step of fine management, through the DPIor DFI recognition, and then through the flow limiting system or cache systemprocessing, alleviate the pressure of network outlet and an external backbone network.In addition the operators shall deploy P4P in the future. Operators need make fulluse of P2P to achieve new growth point, establish platform for perfect applications and services, to avoid become completely pipeline in the future, finally gives thedifferential management, tariff policy adjustment and external cooperation andcoordination management plan.
