Traditional Research On CCTV Gala

Over the past three decades, the traditional Evening Party of CCTV has gradually become a collection and miniature of the art&literature for the masses and the mainstream culture."Spring Festival Gala Evening, Lantern Evening Party and Mid-Autumn Festival Party" of CCTV--as the brand of TV literature which appear during the exploration of the Chinese traditional evening parties, not only bring tens of thousands of families joy and happiness, but also reflects the change and image of time. They are the lifelike forms of national culture which we can experience during festival time. The traditional evening parties are produced by Chinese traditional culture and TV journalism under the new ages. They are the reflections of public demanding of global Chinese and ethnics. Chinese traditional festivals are media events and media view through the live show.Based on the "Spring Festival Gala Evening, Lantern Evening Party and Mid-Autumn Festival Party", the most representatives among all the parties of CCTV, the present thesis attempts to explore the current situations and developmental tendency of the traditional evening parties, from the multi-viewpoints of artistry, culturology and mass communication. The thesis researches for their essence and core value by placing the traditional parties into the context of "advancing Chinese traditional culture". And meanwhile, the thesis will put forward some assumptions and prospects. Based on these, it also explores the developmental directions of the Chinese traditional festival TV programs.The whole thesis is organized into four parts. The first part, according to the chronological order, introduces the forms, contents and technologies of the traditional parties; second part is about the cultural interpretation and attributes of these parties. Based on the cultural interpretations of the first two parts, part three reveals the advantages and disadvantages on the development of the traditional evening parties. Beginning with the "Spring Festival Gala Evening, Lantern Evening Party and Mid-Autumn Festival Party", the future trend of evening parties of TV literature are prospected in part four.
