Abstract/Summary:
From the year2002, the putting on of the program “No-distance from Nanjing city” inthe urban Channel of Jiangsu TV Station, claimed that a brand new kind of television newsprogram has emerged in our country----television civilian news report. In the following years, television civilian news program developed very fast. Many local stations across the countryput on programs of civilians news, or transformed the original social news report into civiliannews report. Civilian news program calls for caring about the human needs and revealing thereal life of the public. Thus it has won much welcome form the audience. And it has not onlybrought about unprecedented prosperity to the Chinese television, but also very positive socialinfluence. However, in the recent years, as the development of the society and media, the growingcivilian news program reached its bottleneck. Contents becoming similar, subjects gettingtrivial, style turning vulgar, it can not reveal the public’s life deeply and correctly; and thereare even some news programs seeking novelties or making things up. In the course ofcommunication, some media have lost their role definition, plus the low quality of theiremployees and the missing of operation mechanism, they have diverged from their principlesof being objective and impartial.Set from the bottleneck of civilian news program, based on the current reality andcombined with the author’s working experience at Hebei TV Station, this essay analyzed therecent development and present situation of civilian news report objectively, and made somesuggestions about its problems, hoping it can provide some reference value to help thecivilian news programs develop better. The author also made some outlook about the future ofcivilian news program: civilians news report could find its own way by using some reasonablereference from the core of public journalism theory.
