This paper briefly introduces the concrete application of embedded system in the data acquisition and processing, it can measure exact value of such states as the temperature, conductivity, depth of seawater. The characteristic can master water quality changes and changes of ocean climate. The system is designed to regard ARM as controller, which is suitable for engineering practice. The system is an important port of CTD monitoring technology, has extremely important significance.Hull Fixed CTD is attached to the hull surface, designed for measuring water temperature, depth and conductivity of hydrological parameters.The hardware design and implementation of an embedded network multichannel data acquisition are described in this paper.The hardware circuit is consisting of two parts:analog control circuits and digital control circuit. In the first part, it concludes the signal preamplifier circuit, filter circuit, the main amplifier circuit and level uplift-circuit; in the second port, master controller design, lead switching circuit, serial port circuit, network circuit and A/D transfer circuit are designed. At last, system soft and the hardware debug strategy of the system is introduced.The CTD data processing is implemented by the host computer. After the completion of data collection, the ARM would do simple data pre-processing to the sampled data, Subsequently, the collected CTD data will be sent to the host computer through serial communication. Host machine to accept the software using LabVIEW Windows programming environment designed to transmit the data from the host computer’s data processing software for digital filtering and compensation data processing, the final completion of the data storage, playback and real-time display.Experimental tests show that the design of data acquisition and processing system can be stable operation, low power consumption, high accuracy, has a strong practical, and has a broad application prospects in the CTD signal acquisition and processing.
