A Study On Consummating Sharring Costs And Charging System Of Higher Education In China

The function of higher education to the society’s development is transportation of high-level professional personnel to it, in order to satisfy the huge demand of high-level professional personnels in the fast development of country social economy, we must develop the higher education vigorously. However, as a big development nation, our economy strength is poor, the higher education is a domain which needs highly investment, how to solve this problem become the current urgent topic. Implementing the cost sharing system of higher education, formulating the higher education cost compensation policy, making sure the main body and various main bodies sharing proportion of the cost, are very important to the Chinese higher education. This paper, based on economics theory of higher education investment, as well as the analysis of the economic development in China and the development trend of higher education, tries to set up a tuition system with Chinese characteristics. It further investigates into the elements of higher education cost and the economic connotation of self-financing. What’s more, it discusses about the general features and principles of the shouldering of the higher education cost, and by the experience of the higher education cost, discusses about the scientific model of it.
