Research On The Implementation And Optimization Of Management By Objectives In Local Universities

With the continuous deepening reform of the internal management system in local universities, the management by objectives has received more attention and has been more and more widely used in universities, and then it has achieved remarkable results. However, there are some problems in the process of management by objectives practice. In order to play a greater role in the management of local university management system, it is necessary to optimize the implementation of the management by objectives system. This article uses the research method as the literature review, the data analysis, the investigation and interview as well as the case analysis and so on. Firstly, the paper introduces the concept of management by objectives and the “people oriented” in local universities, and expounds the theoretical support for the optimization of the management system of local university’s objectives. Then, according to the literature data, the problems existing in the practice of target management in local colleges and universities are extracted and analyzed. Again, put forth the proposals on the optimization of local university to implement the management by objectives system from three stages of goal management: goal-setting stage, target implementation stage, target evaluation stage. Finally, to optimize the management of A University as an example, the specific measures are put forward.This paper consists of six chapters:The first chapter is introduction.
