The rapid development of information technology endowed education with new connotation. The fusion of information technology and education directly affects the quality of education and the pace of innovation education. The direction of the education must conform to the pace of time. The integration of information technology and teaching is the emphasis of the current education reform, and it has injected new blood for education. Many scholars have done a lot of research on the integration of information technology and teaching theory. But how to play the positive role of information technology in the process of teaching practice, further research is needed.By reading a large number of documents, I have a comprehensive understanding of information technology and education fusion. Starting from the objectives, strategies and function of integration, to explore new teaching model under the information technology environment and applies the teaching model in teaching practice. Combining with the typical teaching cases in the process of teaching practice, this paper gives the application of information technology in the high school mathematics teaching, to find problems and give solutions. By enhancing the teachers’ education concept and teaching design level, change the learning evaluation standard, gradually promote the depth of the information technology and mathematics teaching integration.
